I am a PhD student in the Regenerative Biomaterials and Theranostics Laboratory, Department of Polymer Science and Rubber Technology, at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), under the supervision of Prof. G.S. Sailaja. My doctoral research focuses on developing inherently radiopaque, biodegradable biomaterials for orthopaedic and craniomaxillofacial repair, tissue regeneration, and locoregional cancer therapy.
My research interests span biomaterials, polymer nanocomposites, 3D printing, bone and cartilage tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and drug delivery systems. I previously worked on injectable hydrogels for cartilage repair at IIT Kanpur, interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) coatings at IIT Madras, and bone graft substitutes at CUSAT.
Beyond research, I qualified GATE 2026 and stood first in my M.Tech batch at CUSAT. My work has led to a book chapter with Springer and a manuscript currently under review at Ceramics International.
